ABOUT ASTERISK/FREEPBX

Asterisk is an open source framework for building communications applications. Asterisk turns an ordinary computer into a communications server. It is also included in various third-party distributions such as The FreePBX Distro and AsteriskNow.

Provisioning a server is not an automatic process. We will get information about your business scenario, and we can determine what server tier to place you on. Allow us at least 1-3 days to provision your server onto our infrastructure.

SERVICE READY

When you allow us to provision a PBX server for you, we will configure a Metric Infinity SIP trunk to your server by default. Once you register your extension on the PBX, you will be ready to place outgoing calls.

Also, by allowing us to provision a DID onto your trunk, you can start receiving local calls or toll-free calls, too.
